The one thing I love so much about this recipe is that I can prep this the night before and just bake it the next morning. Isn’t this like the perfect recipe for lazy people 🙈
Okay HAHAH not only for lazy mornings but also those who has no time to prepare breakfast the next morning. Like when you have school or work.
Hmmm or when you overslept and usually skip your breakfast and this will make sure you don’t 😉
DON’T. EVER. SKIP. BREAKFAST.
Apples dipped in chocolate is love.
This is perfectly fluffy and flavorful. Do I need to mention it’s healthy?
BAKED FRENCH TOAST
2 slices bread of choice
1 egg
4 tbsp milk of choice
Grab an oven safe bowl, pan, ramekin, etc and grease it generously.
Cut your bread into cubes or just tear it into bite size pieces and line them on the ramekin.
In another bowl, whisk egg and milk well. You can add a dash of pure vanilla extract and/or cinnamon and whisk well.
Pour this mixture over your bread cubes and make sure that every piece is soaked.
Press down your bread pieces if necessary.
Cover your ramekin and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, preheat your oven to 180°C.
Sprinkle some natural unrefined sugar on top if desired.
Bake for 30 min or until the top turns golden brown.
Do take note that it will rise while baking so if you add fruits on the side, it WILL fall off while baking.
This looks and sounds amazing! hopefully i have time to try it soon :)) x
